News From your County Coordinator

October 3, 2008 I have just majorly updated the cemetery page.  Please go visit the page.  I think you'll find it much more useful and user friendly.
August 28, 2008 Well, the kids went back to school today.  More time for genealogy, YEAH!  Right now I'm working on a complete transcription of marriages from 1870 through 1879.  That will be done in the next week.  Also, one of our wonderful volunteers, Sandy Daniel, just put together the death index from 1914 - 1925.  So that should be up in the next week as well.
August 18, 2008 Just wanted to make sure that everyone saw the link to the 1900 federal census on the family search labs site.  This is a transcription and index PLUS the actual images.   Click here to visit the site.  When you get to the site, click on "record search". Then click on the US on the map  and up will come a list of current US database information available.
