NEILLI am searching for descendents of John Lambert NEILL
(1790-1876) and his wife Sally Clay MARTIN (1798-1879). They
lived between Bellbuckle and Beech Grove. They lost two sons
in the 23rd TN INF. CSA but their other son James Falls
NEILL had one daughter and four sons before being killed by
a horse on January 1, 1870. Some married names of their
daughters are SEARCY, PARRISH, SMITH,TOON and HUGHES. The
site of the NEILL family cemetery has recently been
located.

Isaac VICTORY married Nancy Francis HALL I842 in Williamson
county. In the 1860 Bedford county census he was married to
Elizabeth could this be a second wife or is this a different
Isaac, did he have a son with Nancy named Francis. Am
wondering if William Owen, James, Thomas A and Nancy were
Francis half brothers and sisters.These are children listed
with Isaac and Elizabeth in the 1860 census. There were 3

TAYLOR, NICHOLS, WHEELERWilliam Stafford TAYLOR may have come from Perquimans
County, NC to TN before 1827. He married Nancy TAYLOR in
1827 in Williamson County. They lived in Bedford County and
were members of Enon Primitive Baptist Church in Unionville.
Their daughter, Margaret Jane, married John Wheeler NICHOLS,
son of Jackson and Nancy WHEELER NICHOLS. I'm looking for
additional information on all of these. I have the Rover

SMITHI'm looking for James SMITH's ancestors. James Smith was
born in TN in 1806 in Bedford County. James married Sarah C.
Kinyon and with the Kinyon's moved to southern IL to
Washington Co. The Smith's and the Kinyon's are linked
through intermarrying beginning in the 1700's. The Kinyon's
were originally from NC and there Joseph Kinyon married a
Sarah SMITH. They settled in Bedford Co., TN, for a while
before some members of the Kinyon's and Smith's moved on to
Washington Co., IL. Anyone who has information about this

BARNEY MERRILLLooking for information on my great grandfather. Barney
Merrill. According to his Confederate War records, he was
born in Bedford Co. The earliest I can trace him to is the
1850 Giles County Census record where he was living with his
mother Mary (Possibly). Barney married Sarah E. ?? about
1858. Any assistance in locating his father's name or his
mother's maiden name would be greatly appreciated.

SIMMONS and Minnie FRAZIER, my grandparents. My mother was
Ida Mae Simmons, born in Shelbyville in 1921. Her siblings
were Ada, Sarah, Ellen, Carl, Cecil, Murphy, Clyde and
Herman. As a youngster I recall being told that Minnie was
part-Indian, but I don't recall whether Cherokee or
