I'm trying to find the parents/siblings of my g-g-g-grandfather,Wintford T. THURMAN (Winford or Winton) born 1844 supposedly inWarren Co, TN, maybe White Co, TN. The last record I have is an 1850Warren Co, TN census showing Winford at age 5 in with a NancyTHURMAN age 45, Miller THURMAN age 17, Sarah S. THURMAN age 3. Hemarried first America MILLER abt. 1871 and second Josephine WOOD,abt. 1874. In 1870 and 1880 I found them in Van Buren Co, TN. Anyinformation would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for info about parents & siblings of my g-g-grandfather,Abraham GRIMSLEY. Abraham was born on March 28, 1821 in TN, marriedEmaline Moulton on Dec. 24, 1840. Their children were William R.GRIMSLEY (my g-grandfather, born 1850), James, and Elizabeth. Thishousehold is listed in the Hamilton County, TN census in 1860 and theBledsoe County, TN census in 1870 & 1880.Abraham's siblings were James, William and possibly Esther. Looking for any information on a Allen LEE/LEA that was a Captain inthe "Lookout Rangers" He was mustered into Confederate Service atNashville, TN November 1, according to MEN FROM MARION COUNTY. Allenand some of his men later served in the 2nd Alabama Cavalry Battalionof which LEA was first Captain and later Major. Allen resigned fromthe Confederae Army and Enlisted in the Union Army as part of theFirst TN and AL Independent Vidette Cavalry. Allen reached the rankof Lieutenantl Allen was born Bledsoe County TN. He lived in DeKalband Jackson County's Alabama. Allen had brothers and sisters thatmarried BALLARDS. GreenBerry LEE Elizabeth Ballard, William LEE/LEAIII married Melina(sp) Ballard and Emily LEE/LEA married WilliamMuril Ballard, then Myra/Mirah LEE/LEA married unknown Ballard.
