William ROGERS married Patience_____________ ca 1812 in Bledsoe Co.I have been told she was an IGOU, but she is not the Patience IGOUwho died in Bledsoe Co. ca 1880's. William in 1849 and is the firstperson to be buried in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Dunlap. He was aSunday School teacher and Supeintendent of the Sunday school there.It was called Marion Co at that time. Patience died ca 1853, but shedoes not have a marker like William.

Looking for CSA soldiers? John T. POPE (b. abt. 1838), James POPE (b.abt. 1839) and Green J. POPE (abt. 1845). All sons of John M. Seaching for info on my great-grandfather, James Alexander Taylor,born Feb 22, 1861 TN. His second wife was Mary Swafford and histhird wife was Maggie Swafford, her sister. These women also went bythe name of Clinch. James died in 1828. One of his children wasborn in 1903 in Sunbright, TN (Morgan County) and his youngest wasborn in 1921 in Helenwood, TN (Scott Co.) My great grandfather was Aaron Waters. He married Mahala 'Haley'RUSSELL, daughter to John Jackson RUSSELL in Sequatchie County onJuly 7, 1871.
