Hickman Family Photos

This is the photo of my Great Great Grandparents, John Andrew & Emily (Carter) Hickman.
My grandfather had written on the back of the photo "Grandpa Hickman; Age 55; Cleveland, TN."
With the age, I was able to determine that the photo should be from the year of 1871. 
John & Emily lived on a farm just south of the Julian Gap in the White Oaks Mountains of Bradley County.
The farm was in the Hickman name for nearly 100 years before it was sold around 1940 or so.
Both are buried in Lee Cemetery, along with several other family members, near the old homeplace.



This is the family photo of Russell Carson & Mary Elizabeth (Williams) Hickman
taken around 1905 or 1906 in Wapanucka, Indian Terr., now Oklahoma. This would have
been about five or six years after their move from Bradley County. Names are as follows;
