Hello, Just read these messages concerning George W. Webb and Loretta Wilhoite. These are the names of my great great grandparents. They are buried at Lebanon cemetery (Laurel Hill).
I have information on the Wilhoites, but have not been able to find much on the Webb's. I do not have my records at hand right now, but I do know that Loretta died when my great grandmother Susan J. Webb was a child.
Susan Webb married Hamilton Howard. Their oldest daughter Gertrude Howard married Clifford Allen. They were my grandparents.
I would love to have more information on George W. Webb. Is the Melton Webb mentioned the same as "Mit" Webb whose name I have heard in my family? I know that my great grandmother had a brother named Melton who was called "Mit". As a matter of fact, as I look at your message, I believe that I have all of these names in my files as her brothers and sisters and she is probably your "Sue" in your list.
Hope to hear from you and compare notes.

Seeking information on Rachel Parsons. Rachel, age 59, is shown on 1850 TN Census living in Bradley Co. Also living in the household is Rachel Cook, age 89. Would like to know if Rachel Parsons had a daughter Evaline b 1818. Evaline Parsons married Zachariah Murphy abt. 1839. After Zachariah's death in Jan. 1850 Evaline married George Colville. Any info on these people will be appreciated.

I'm looking for information on the parents of William Brackin SMITH who lived in Bradley County before migrating to LaClede County, Mo. about l848. William Brackin, called Brackin or Bracken, signed a petition in Bradley county in l845. Brackin's son Wyatt SMITH stated on his military records that he was born in Bradley county c. l844.
The l850 census of Laclede County, Mo. shows a William B. Smith, 38, wife Jane 33, 8 SMITH children born in TN and a Polly LAWSON 24. I'm considering Polly as a sister of Jane. I would appreciate any information on this family.JOHNS Cemetery
