Looking for any information on Henry Harrison
McNelly, who married Mary Louella Hudson in early 1900's. They lived in
Chattanooga, but she was probably from Cleveland or Benton. He worked for
the city as a street sweeper. ANY info on either side appreciated. These
are my grandparents and I can't go back any farther.

how long, but died there. Buried in East Lake, Tn? Where is that? His son
William Sidney was born there and lived there with his wife Ellen Hockenhull

Martha Jane McNiece born about 1850 family tradition says at least part Cherokee.
I think father was Jonathan, in 1850 and 1860 census, near Roseann, who might

Marshall William "M.W." MCDONALD (This could be reversed to read William
Marshall) b 1826 SC d 1860/1869 Bradley County, TN m abt 1854 GA??? husband
of: Adaline Parks of GA The following are notes that I have collected:
Marshall William MCDONALD was a roadmaster on the East Tennessee and Georgia
Railroad, that served the area between Georgia and Tennessee. The area at
McDonald, TN was called McDonald Station. He and his family resided in what
is now McDonald, TN. He was riding in the engine of the train, during the
Civil War, when a trestle gave way; believed to have been caused by the
Union army. The train wrecked and he was scalded to death. The accident
occured approximately two miles west of McDonald, Tennessee; in Bradley
County. According to family history, the town of McDonald, Tennessee was
named after William Marshall McDonald or one of his relatives. Surely there
must be some newspaper account of this train accident in the Bradley County
records???

Looking for information and/or descendants of GEORGE W. TURNER (1816-1897).
He was purportedly born in what is presently called Holmes County, Ohio
and died in the year 1897 in Cleveland, Tennessee (unconfirmed). His wife's
name was ANN (JEFFRAS) TURNER. The couple had five children. They were:
Alonzo, Barton, Rachel, Sara, and Washington Turner. GEORGE W. TURNER'S
son Alonzo was a property owner in Bradley County. GEORGE W. TURNER died
22 years after his wife's death. It is not presently known if he ever remarried.

I am researching our gggrandfather and his wife. They are Richard R. Farmer
and Anna Gerin or Geren (not sure of spelling) Richard was born Abt. 1839
and Anna was Born Abt. 1843. I see there is a Geren family in Bradley county,
I am wondering if this is possibly Anna's family.

Looking for information on Hezekiah POSEY (b@1798) who was in Bradley County
in 1840-1850. Believe Hezekiah's wife Elizabeth (Patsy) was full blood Cherokee.

Seeking information on my Great Grandparents who were married in Bradley
Co. She was Mary Lawson, b 1831 in Hawkins Co, he was James M. Smith born
1828 in Green County. they were married in Old Fort, Bradley Co, TN on Feb
6,1852. Both died in Polk County. If your research has found any mention

am searching for descendants of John and Ann Rona ADAMS TROUBLEFIELD. They
were known to be in Bradley County in 1843. They had these children: Charles
C.,born about 1821, SC; Richard J., born about 1822 TN; William A.,born about
1824, TN; James A., born about 1826, TN; and Sarah Ann, born about 1830 TN.
Ann Rona was previously married to Pierce BULGER, and she had several BULGER
children, but it is not known if they were with them in Bradley County. Can

just learned that my great grandmother's name was Elvira E. WATERHOUSE, who
was married to James Shelton ROBERTSON. Among their children were Gideon and
Wilhemina, b.1875 (my grandmother). Please let me know if you have any info

My
great grandfather was Philip Frazier b 13/03/1821. Who were his parents? I
had always thought that John Frazier b04/02/1771 and Rebecca Low were his
parents. This John was born in N.C. came to Monroe County abt 1825, (tax list)
McMinn County census 1840. The 1850 census finds him in Bradley County. Recent
information suggest that he may have been a grandson. Sure would appreciate
any help on this. Also any information on Samuel Frazier b 1807 son of John
and Rebecca. This Samuel is not old enough to be Philip's father. Rebecca
seems to be too old to be Philip's mother.

Looking
for information on the Cleveland train wreck that occurred in 1862 during
the Civil War. When was it? Was it a troop train? Where was it exactly? What
was the name of the railroad company? My 3rd greatgrandfather, William M.
Smyth was killed or died as a result of injuries sustained in this train accident.
