John SULLIVAN was born in TN in abt. 1837-38. I found him in 1859 in an AR marriage
record in 1860 in the Independence Co., AR census. He listed TN as his place of birth. There
were many other Sullivans with him in the 1860 census in AR - all in the same township: H.W.,
P.B., Daniel M., and William. I traced H.W. and P.B. to Madison Co., TN in 1850 and William
and Daniel M. to Carroll Co, TN in 1850. H.W. and P.B. are
heads
of household. William is a
head of household. Daniel was 13 and living with his mother and step father: Sarah Black and
Samuel BLACK. I found a John Sullivan, 14 (age is off a little) living in home of Jeremiah and
Ann FULLER, step-father and mother in Madison Co. 1850. I need to find someone that knows
some of these families in Carroll and Madison Counties. I need
to
know if I have found my
grandfather John SULLIVAN. Please contact: Frank Sullivan, Jr., P.O. Box 768, Sallisaw, OK,
74955, (918) 775-3170 or (918) 775-9149. E-mail is: osullivan@softwareplus.net. Thanks!!
I am the daughter of Fleetwood Boyd JOYNER s/o Isaac Newton JOYNER, who lived in
Buena Vista around the period of late 1800's. My grandmother, Louellen Boyd JOYNER, d. in
1906 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery. My grandfather remarried and had another child.
His children by Louellen were Pauline, Kate, and Fleetwood. If anyone knows more about the
JOYNERs of Carroll Co. and how I may be related to them,
please
write me. I believe that I
had an aunt Cora PARK who still lived in Huntingdon in the late 60's. I would love to know if I
have any living relatives from the Joyner side. I don't know if my grandfather had other siblings
who lived in Carroll Co. He was in the stave mill business with a
man named L.J. PARKER.
Their home office was in Lexington, TN.

Need info concerning WINN family, early residents of Carroll
County. Specifically, I need
confirmation that the John WINN (b. 1795 in SC) and Sarah G.WINN (b. abt. 1798 in NC) were
parents of Minor M. WINN (b. 1821 in TN) who married Nancy Yarbrough or Yarbory (b.
1828). Other children were Robert (1829), Amanda A. (1833), Thomas (1836) and, perhaps
Samuel C. (1820) and J.D. (1823). There might have been another daughter. Amanda may have
married P.W.C. Foster. Also, trying to determine identities of parents to John WINN, Sarah G.
WINN and Nancy Yarbrough WINN.
JAMES MULLINS - 3 cousins looking for gggrandfather. James MULLINS m. Anna Jane
MALONE, 7 July 1861 in Carroll Co, TN. In Oct 1863 their
son
James Buel MULLINS was
born. Anna Jane MULLINS m. T. Higdon in Carroll County,
TN
1866. In Trezevant in 1859 a
Mr. MULLINS had a store. James MULLINS is not in 1860 Carroll

and his children from previous marriage. Anna Jane MALONE was b. Dec 1833 in NC. Thank
you.
