Researching James & Susan Johnson Hart. James born N.C.abt 1798;
Susan born Va. abt 1803. We have only located them in Henderson Co.
They are probably the James Hart family found on the 1840 census there.
They were definitely on the 1850 census, along with some of their family.
There may be other unknown children, but we know the following: James P.
m Ursula Howard; Joseph H. Hart; Marcus Dudley Littleton Hart
m (Kittie Ann Mann?); William Henry Harrison Hart (my line) m Emily Lane
Miller; Henry Clay Hart m Martha B. Miller. We believe that the
Alexander
We believe the Alexander T. Hart, who is found on several records, as
well as living with or near family members, was also a son. We believe
there
probably were some older children whose names we do not know. We need
much information on this family. My ggrandfather, W. H. H. Hart and
Emily Miller Hart lived just across the county line in Carroll County.

Researching MOORE family in Carroll Co., TN. My mother's
great-great aunt, Mary A. WADE, married Yancey MOORE in Halifax
Co., VA. on 20-Dec-1827. They had the following 13 children:
Sarah, Robert Yancey, Richard Baxter, William, Eliza, John Bailey,
George Wade, Charles, Susan, James Albert, Mary, Martha and
Benjamin Portius. They moved to Carroll Co. abt 1833. The only
info I have on fam is Benjamin Portius married Sarah Ellis
DINWIDDIE & Lula DOUGLASS.
Yancey died 4-Mar-1881 & Mary died 6-Nov-1848 in Carroll Co.
Nancy Hardin MOORE, b. 1887 was child of 1st marr & she married
Clifford H. BATEMAN.

I am trying to find any information on William Darnell m Carolina
Williams in Carroll Co. Tn The date of marriage is 3 Feb 1848. After the
Civil War he was murdered in front of his home. Would like to find out
where he is buried and any information about his death. The 1870 Carroll
Co. Census shows Caroline Darnell as the head of the household. I would
like to find his parents as well, would like to exchange any information.
Caroline's parents were Daivd and Sallie Williams and the census shows
they were from NC.

Isaac Blount born about 1771 and he married Catherine Lovey Jones. They
both died in Ripley,MS. They had 10 children - Eliza born in 1820 was the
mother of my paternal grandmother Sarah Elisabeth McCord Dimmick. I

indicate that it was John Gray Blount, other DAR records say that it was
a Benjamin Blount. We were told by our grandmother that we were of the
