In the last week of June I will be coming to Huntingdon to research
these three names. James Walter VAUGHN was born in 1892, Floyce McCLURE was born in
1894 and they were married Nov. 22, 1914. They lived for a short time in a place called "Buxie
Storehouse" near Hollow Rock. These are are my mother's parents. J.W. VAUGHN died
1967and Floyce McCLURE VAUGHNaughn died about 1985. They are both buried at

I am searching for information on Elder Daniel MEALS of Carroll and Henderson Counties
(Nov 25, 1971 - Jan 6, 1870) and his son, Elder Samuel H. MEALS (June 22, 1813 -
December 10, 1895). Both are buried at the Coffman Cemetery in Henderson County. Each
had significant contacts with the Mud Creek Baptist Church and financial interests in the
City of Clarksburg. Samuel performed many marriages in Carroll County after the Civil
War as evidenced by the Carroll County Marriage Records.

Stephen KELLY marr. Mary Emaline PRITCHARD on June 23, 1840. He was shown in a 1840

I am looking for information on the PERRITT and FRANCISCO families that lived in the
McKenzie, Huntington area. My grandfather was Sidney Lonzo Perritt, born October 9th
1889. He married Zena Francisco who was born January 13th, 1903. My
great-grandfather was William Perritt who married Lund??? Eliza Carver, November
11th, 1888.

He was born on Feb. 1, 1845 served in the 21st Tenn. Vol. Cavalry Co. I. Enlisted in

Searching for any info. on John W. ELLIS and his wife Miriam. He was originally from
N.C., made a home in Marshall Co., MISS during the 1840 and 1850 census years. He and
his family resided in Carroll Co. TN (1860 census) and later appeared in Gibson Co. (1870

My greatgrandfather was Joseph Lewis MCGILL. He was married in 1893 in Mississippi
County, Arkansas and was a salesman by trade. He died in 1946 in Stuttgart, Arkansas and
is buried in Huntingdon but I don't know the name of the cemetary. I am interested in
learning about his parents, grandparents, etc. I am told he was an orphan and/or was
raised by a family named LEGG.

Looking for information on a WILL WHITE, living in Carroll county and on the federal
census for 1870. Father was PETER DOSS WHITE, who died from sickness in civil war in
1863, in Dyer county. Both father and son were supposedly blacksmiths. Have lots of

Looking for any info on McCAULEY family of Carroll County. Phillis and her two
(known) children, Samuel and Sarah, were here as of 1870. The family of Samuel and
