The megalith style monument usually uses natural unfinished or roughly finished stones. In the image above, the grave plot is marked at each corner by upright stone. The megalith style monument is rather a rarity. The term “megalith” as used here comes from the British usage as applied to their stone circles, i.e., Stonehenge in Wiltshire England.
