MR. HENRY CLAY EASTHAM


Born July 18, 1837, Henry Clay Eastham and two of his brothers served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, while a third brother served in the Union Army. Mr. Eastham was DeKalb County Trustee from 1884 to 1886. He was married four times and had 16 children. He and his family joined the large number of DeKalb Countians who moved west in the 1890's. Clay Eastham moved by 1896 to Garland, Texas, and later to Hollis, Oklahoma, where he died.
