Obituary David Crawford BECK, JR.

OBITUARY: David Crawford BECK David Crawford Beck, Jr. was born December 2, 1862 and died February 18, 1954.
He was the son of David Crawford Beck, Sr. and Mary F. Shelton of Dickson County, TN.
Mr. Beck was a retired lumberman of Whitehave, Tenn. He died at his home last Thurdsay night on February 18th. He was 91 and had remained physically active until this week. Burial was in Brown Cemetery, at Burns, Tn. Saturday with Dickson Funeral Home in charge. Born in Dickson County Tn, Mr beck owned small sawmills in Middle Tennessee until his reitrement. He moved to Whitehaven from Pegram, Tn in 1952 to make his home with his daughter and son-in-law Mr and Mrs W. L. Childs. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Pegram. He also leaves five sons, W.B. BECK of Kingston Springs, Tn, Walter F. BECK of Water Valley, Earl BECK of Cicero, Ill, Vernon A. BECK of Oxford and Clarence M. BECK of Memphis Tn. and Three daughters, Mrs. Claytie STEWART, of Burns, Tn, Mrs. Myrtle WELLS and Mrs. Pearl WHITE, both of Memphis.
