AARON BROWN was a Revolutionary soldier according to the DAR Lineage books. Nothing further is known about his service at this time. See the History of Pisgah and Brown Family Biographies for more about this family.




AARON BROWN The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Volume 159, page 293 Mrs. Graham Rounsaville German Webb. DAR ID Number: 158986 Born in Franklin, Tenn. Wife of Samuel Webb. Descendant of Aaron Brown, as follows: 1. Daniel German (1831-1911) m. 1869 Adalicia McEwen (b. 1848). 2. John Brown McEwen (1820-1903) m. 1842 Cynthia Graham (1821-94). 3. Christopher McEwen (1790-1868) m. 1815 Rebecca Brown (1799-1827). 4. Aaron Brown m. 2d Elizabeth Melton (1757-1819). Aaron Brown (1757-1830) enlisted as a private and was one of the sufferers in the encampment at Valley Forge during the severe winter of 1777-78. He was born in Brunswick County, Va.; died in Giles County, Tenn. Also No. 62247.

Lionberger, M. D. Descendant of Rev. Aaron Brown. Daughter of Claiborne Holmes Kinnard and Rebecca Jane Campbell, his wife. Granddaughter of John Campbell and Rebecca Brown McEwen, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Christopher McEwen and Rebecca Brown, his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Aaron Brown and Elizabeth Melton, his 2nd wife. Aaron Brown (1757-1840) enlisted as a soldier in the Revolutionary War, and was at the battle of Trenton and participated in that memorable march through the Jerseys. He was also one of the sufferers in the encampment at Valley Forge during the severe winter of 1777-78. He was born in Brunswick County, Va.; died in Giles County, Tenn.
