LIVINGSTON

George Winston LIVINGSTON, b. Nov. 10, 1835 in Wilkes Co NC, moved to the Morristown area about 1879-1880. His first wife was Nancey Elizabeth CARLTON from NC, but while in the Morristown area divorced her and married Harriet Isabelle (Belle) COLLINS. He died June 13, 1914 and both he and Harriet are buried in Jarnagin Cemetery. I have been unable to find out any information as to why George Winston and Nancey divorced, and where Belle came from. George Winston was a doctor and a minister and Belle was reportedly also a doctor. I have been unable to find a divorce record for George Winston and Nancey, or a marriage record for George Winston and Belle. There is no mention of his death in the Morristown newspaper. Can anyone supply any more information? Thanks.
