Henderson County Dis. No. 13th on the waters
of Doe Creek Range 7th & Section 7th---
Beginning on a dogwood & two White oaks
pts the North East Corner of Entry No. ---
for 200 acres in the Name of Morgan
Austen and Runs South 138 poles to a stake
2 Hickery and post oak pinters its South East
Corner thence West 42 poles to 2 Hickerys
popler & spanish oak pinters thence South 122
poles to an ash White oak and spanish oak
pinters thence East 114 poles to a Stake
2 hickerys pinters in the West Boundry
line of Entry in the Name of Richard
Austen thence north 200 poles to Black
oak Hickery and Dogwood pinters on agreed
line Between A. J. Austen & Charles Austen
thence West 10 poles to a small Hickory &
White oak pointer thence North 60 poles
to a white oak thence West 62 poles to the Beginning---
I have this day bargained and sold to Wm.T.
Shippard [sic] and His Heirs forever for the
Sum of Forty five dollars all my Dowry
Part of the above land including the
Mantion house that the said Alex.
Medlin lived---
