BELL

BELL,PRICE,MONTGOMERY,BLALOCK I am looking for information about the parents of Robert James Addision Bell and his sister Isabella C Bell. Robert and his sister are listed in the 1850 Tennessee Census Decatur County. They were living with John and Sarah Price. I think that Isabella might have married a Montgomery. I assume their parents died somewhere between 1847/1850. Robert was my Grandad. I have his life history. I do not have any information concerning their parents or about Isabella C. Bell after the 1850 and 1860 census when she was 13 years old. If you have any information concerning the Bell's of Decatur or Perry County Tenn. I would really appreciate your help. Family rumors indicates that (my Bell Family)traveled/came from North Carolina with the ancestors of Jesse and Frank James. Frank and Jesse visited my Grandparents' home in Carrol County during their young manhood. And then Frank by himself after 1900. Robert himself served with Gen. N.B. JONES,KNIGHT,WILDREDGE

Help! I'm looking for any info on my g-g-g-gr.parents Willis S. JONES (b.1831) & his wife Margaret Ann KNIGHT (b.1833). I have no idea who Willis' parents were, but I suspect he was born in Humphreys or Hickman Co.. I believe Margaret was the daughter of Joshua Y. KNIGHT (1809-1871)& first wife Lucretia WILDREDGE (ca.1810-1840). Joshua was the son of Thomas & Nancy KNIGHT, Lucretia was the daughter of Edmund & Elizabeth WILDREDGE. Both the KNIGHT & WILDREDGE families lived in Humphreys Co.. Were Willis (a cobbler by trade)& Margaret married in Humphreys Co.? On the 1860 census they lived in Dist. 8 in Hickman Co.. Margaret still lived there in 1870, with children Henry E.(b.1853), Rufus S.(b.1855), William T. (1856-1947) my g-g gf, & Elizabeth Asalee (b.1860). I believe Willis died in the C.W.. What became of Margaret & children after 1870? Did she move back to Humphreys Co.?, Did she re-marry? (there is a Margaret JONES that married W.G. BRAMBLETT 5 July 1888 in Humphreys Co.)Any info is greatly appreciated!
