Tiptonville City Library, 126 Tipton St., Tiptonville, TN 38079, has the Microfilim collection.

The Tiptonville Public Library is open from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. five days
per week (M-F).
The librarian is Pam Maddox.

The Library has been completely remodeled; very nice.

The County Register's office, with most of the county records. is open
Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The County Register is Claudia
Adcock.

Dues are $10 per year, mailed to Arlene Orr, Treasurer, Box 160, Tiptonville, TN 38079.

Annual yearbook is published and previous year's books can be purchased if not a member.

The staff in Lake County Court House is not adequate to handle personal requests.

Mail received by them requesting genealogy information is forwarded to the County Historian.
