ELON CEMETERY
Elon cemetery is located at Double Bridges, a community about 4 miles west of Halls, TN.  The cemetery is on Double Bridges-Unionville Road one-half mile north of TN Highway 88. Elon Baptist Church, now located near the center of Double Bridges, once sat on the cemetery site.  For many years the cemetery was not used; now, however, a limited number of lots are available.

Burials learned from the files of the Lauderdale County Enterprise for which no stones were found:

28 June 1907 – Jimmy Miller died November 3, 1907 in his 21st year.  He was the brother of Joe H.
Miller.

4 Oct 1907 – Bud Richardson died Thursday.

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sasser died June 8, 1908.
