District TN in 1840 census would be emcompassed in present day
Lawrence, Lewis or Maury Counties? Am attempting to locate area my
great grandparents might have been in at that time as they were
listed in Middle District in 1840 census. They were married in June
1835 in Maury County and were shown in 1850 census in Lewis County so
it is presumed they would have been in the general area of

Looking for land or marriage records for Jacob Watts m Emily ? about
1822. Emily was full blood Cherokee, whose parents had been killed.
She was supposedly adopted by one of the Ross families, so the name
in the marriage record might be Ross. Jacob was 1/2 Cherokee.

Lawrence County TN. Would like to know if my Elizabeth belongs with
