genealogical research. She published several family histories
and other related work. Mrs. Lala was retired as an officer of

Burial will take place June 4, 2007 in the Kittrell Cemetery,
Hampshire, TN. Visitation will be Monday June 4, 2007 at
10:00 AM. Mr. Sims was a Veteran of the United States Army
serving during W.W.II Survivors include sons, Boyce
and Jerry Sims; daughter, Peggy Peevyhouse; 8
