The following information was provided by Ms. Linda Gavin, owner of the historic Blackburn Farmstead. She has been told there were many graves in the area but few remain. This is an important site in Lewis County history. Ambrose Blackburn is the one of the only Revolutionary Soldiers buried in Lewis Co.
