The Brown Family Pictures  


 

These pictures are from a collection owned by Elsie Retzer and are used with her permission.  Please contact her directly if you have further questions regarding this family.

The first photograph is of Isham Johnson Brown and Martha Cotham.  Isham is the son of Walter Walker Brown.  Isham is wearing his Civil War uniform.

This is a photograph of Isham Arthur Brown, son of Isham Johnson Brown, and his wife, Elise Mae Goodman.

Finally, this is a photograph of the Old Brown Home Place.  It apparently burned about 1955.

A book about the Brown Family was written by Rebecca Ann Davis Henderson.  Other surnames listed in this book include BREECE, DePRIEST, SKELTON, GOODMAN, and SISCO.  Contact Ms. Retzer for further information.
