     The Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society will hold its next meeting July 17, 2004 at the Edmondson Pike Public Library, 5501 Edmondson Pike, Nashville, TN at 1:00 p.m. Coffee and refreshments follow the meeting.

     J. MARK LOWE, a professional genealogist, author and lecturer of Springfield, TN, will present a program on "Kinfolk in Kentucky, Ties in Tennessee." His particular interest is in cemetery preservation and his research is primarily in manuscripts and original records throughout the mid-south.

     They would also like to announce that the Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society will be the host society for "The 27th Conference in the States and GENTECH 2005" to be held June 1-4, 2005 in Nashville, Tennessee!   The National Society website address is: http://www.ngsgenealogy.org.    Please check the Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society  website, http:/www.mtgs.org , regularly for updates.
