I am searching for anyone
who has done research for James Wade Donoho, his father, Rodney Donoho, and
grandfather, William Donoho. I know that James Wade Donoho lived and is buried
behind his old farmhouse in Willette, Macon County, TN. I have very little info

GIFFORD and Annie WILMORE. I found Macon CO census B. GIFFORD and Wife Ann,

Johnna SHRUM. My grandfather was born in Arkansas in 1888. His name was Nicholas
Bert SHRUM. I think he went by Bert. He had a twin brother Eart. My fathers name
was Norba Burton SHRUM. He was born in Arkansas in 1912. Bert moved the family

Did you know that Daniel
Smith Helton had two wives and 24 children? I have the names of 12 of those. His
first wife's name is unknown. As a decendent of Silas Helton thru Samuel Helton,
thru Carl Helton, Sr., thru Alvin Helton, Sr. for most part you have the Silas
Helton Genealogy correct. However, his first wife was Celina Frances. Marion
Helton was married twice, first wife was Tennessee Johnson, married 1-25-1885,
his second wife was Katie Tapp whom he married 12-24-1898. The children were
Augustus born May 1887, Samuel, named after my ggrandfather, born April 1895, by
Tennesse Johnson. Infant daughter, Nancy born May 1900, according to the 1900
cencus records. I have a marriage of Nancy to a William Shipley, March 19, 1932.
As for this being the same daugher or not, who knows. I do not know the birth
dates of James or Elijah. Nor do I know what happened to this branch of our
family. The last we had any record or report of them, they lived in a place

I am researching the SULLIVAN brothers Joseph b
1771, Owen b 1772, Daniel b 1773, and Isaac b 1781 who moved from Orange Co.,
NC, about 1795-1800 and settled in Tennesse in what was then western Smith Co.
and eastern Sumner Co. --- now Macon Co., near/along Goose Creek. The location
and timing of their arrival is roughly the same as my SMOTHERS ancestors. I
believe I am also a descendant of one of these SULLIVAN brothers (probably Owen
through his son Isaac). My gg grandmother, Martha E. Sullivan SMOTHERS b 1832
TN, seems to have had two sisters, Mary Jane SULLIVAN b 1825 TN and Margaret Ann
SULLIVAN b 1835 TN who both married WIX and were living in Macon Co., TN, in

John Calvin YORK and wife Sarah Martha COMER
left Macon Co in 1871. They moved to California. They had six children, Master
H, John Calvin Jr, Oliver E, Kittie, Hazel, and Andrew Pinkley York. Andrew was
