Funeral Rites Held For Arthur Shrum
Arthur Shrum 74, retired farmer, died Friday of last week at the home of a sister, Mrs. Eliza Templeton, near Gallatin.
Funeral services were held for him at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at Green Grove Methodist Church. Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born in Macon County, Mr. Shrum resided in Trousdale County most of his life. His parents were Thomas Wiseman and Mollie Clark Shrum.
Surviving are four sons, Arthur Shrum Jr., Hartsville, Lester Shrum, Lebanon, Robert Shrum, Nashville, and Rudolph Shrum of Alabama; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Cox, Gallatin, Mrs. Ruby Neal Stafford and Mrs. Adean Eden, Hartsville; three brothers, Wess Shrum, Bethpage, Tenn., Ed Shrum, Gallatin, and Charlie Shrum, address not known; two other sisters, Mrs. Nellie Templeton, Gallatin and Mrs. Hattie Hutchison of Indiana.
