Mrs. Shrum Dies; Rites Held Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Brawner Shrum, 69, who died Sunday were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm at Green Grove Methodist church near Hartsville.P. D. Hardin officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brawner was a native of Macon County but had lived in Gallatin for the past six years. Her parents were the late Jim and Elizabeth DRaper Brawner.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Shrum; and three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Shrum, Gallatin, and Mrs. Cayce Stafford and Mrs. Garland Eden, both of Hartsville.
