Mrs. Mall Shrum
After an illness of some time from bronchitis, Mrs. Mall Shrum, aged 74, died at a late hour Thursday afternoon at her home on Carter Branch. She was the widow of King Shrum who passed away on February 7th. She was a Miss Smith previous to her marriage and so far as can be learned her only surviving relatives are two half brothers by the name of Edens.
Burial was made about two thirty o’clock Sunday afternoon in the Drury Cemetery with brief funeral services by Homer Alexander. Mrs. Shrum became a member of New Harmony church many years ago.
