All the children were around the age of one when picture was made. Parents in the back are William Weaver "Buck" Pipkin and his wife Susan. The picture was made at Claude, NM about 15 miles north of Clovis in or about 1918. Notes: William Weaver "Buck" Pipkin was born 17 Mar 1848 the son of Samuel Weaver Pipkin {b. 06 Jan 1812 in TN and d. 06 Jun 1865} and Sarah Weaver Pipkin {b. 25 Sep 1805 d. 21 Oct 1867}. Samuel and Sarah are buried in the L.H. Pipkin Cemetery located on the Long Fork Rd., in Macon County,TN. William Weaver Pipkin married Susan Bell White b. 01 Dec 1857 d. 17 Apr 1937. William "Buck" Pipkin passed away 20 Feb. 1924.
