I am researching Andrew Jackson LINDSEY b. 1831 in TN & Catherine
McMANUS b. 1830 in TN. These 2 were married 28 Jan 1850 in Maury Co TN.
They has 4 children I know of Sarah b. 1855, Mary C. b 1859 Andrew H. b.
21 May 1852 & died 13 Sept 1854, & the one I am researching
Christopher C. LINDSEY b. 1858 who married Alice Mandora BALL 1 Mar 1874.

I am looking for the parents and lineage of Thomas Figures
who married Elizabeth Coleman in 1807. In 1810 they moved from
Maury Co. to Coffeeville, Clarke Co., Alabama. Thomas served
in the War of 1812 in the Mississippi Terrritorial Militia
and in the Alabama Indian Wars under General Coffee. He later
rose to the rank of Major in the Alabama Territorial Militia.
He was a very important participant in the earliest
history of Alabama, but alas nothing is known of his lineage.
Can anyone help? I'll even wear orange next October if that
will help!!!!!

WALL, Simeon Venable (b. 1844) in Williamson Co., TN, son of John Brown
WALL and Martha WILSON, married Nannie Jane Comer and is said to have had
9 children, who were these 9 children? Two of them were, Comer Alex.
Wall (b. 1869) and Martha Pearl Wall (b. 1872) at Chapel Hill, TN and
married a KITRELL.
It is also said that Simeon V. WALL had 12 siblings, I only know of one,
Thomas C.H. WALL (b. 1820) in Williamson Co., TN and died in Tippah Co.,
MS. Who were the other siblings?

My gr-grandmother, Sarah Becca Harrison, was born in Maury Co in January,
1834. She married George Shearin in Hardeman Co in 1859. Her mother may
have been Elizabeth ?. Is anyone researching or familiar with her family?
She may have re-married after the death of George. She was living in
Memphis with her son at the time of her death in 1918.

1863 La Clede Co MO. Married in MAURY CO TN to ELIZABETH THOMPSON, d/o
Benjamin and Sarah SCHEFNER Thompson of NC. At least 2 children born to
James D and Elizabeth Thompson Bridges in Maruy Co TN:
Jessie C. Bridges b 1829 and Henry T b 25 Feb 1831 (he may have actually
been b in MARSHALL Co). The entire family went to Johnson Co IL by 1844.

BYARS,PAGE,RUSHTON: Anderson Byars/Byers lived in the Sante Fe area of
Maury Co. from 1849 to abt. 1873 when he moved to Hickman Co. In 1861 he
was married to Lucy Harding Page dau. of William Page of the Percy Warner
Park area of sou. Davidson Co. Any information on this couple
appreciated. Anderson's mother Nancy Bullock Byars was always with him.
Need her parents. Lemuel Rushton and others of the Rushton family lived
in this area also. Lemuel is probably son of Henry Ruston who settled
first in Williamson Co. about 1818 or 1820. Lemuel's bro. Elijah was
first in Williamson then Marshall then Hickman Cos.

Brown Family of Maury Co.
Does anyone have information on Gabriel Brown that married Susan Mash in
Maury Co. on Feb. 28, 1828. The 1870 census stated that Gabriel was born
in Kentucky and that Susan was born in North Carolina. They were the
parents of six children. Three females, Elizabeth, Mary S. and Tennessee
and three sons, George W., Obediah A. and Gabriel B.,(who married
Margaret J. Moreen). Gabriel and Susan (Mash) Brown were buried at the
McCain's Cem. in Maury Co. Any information that would help to locate the
parents of these two, would be deeply appreciated.

I am reseaching my Tennessee ancestors. They lived in Theta, TN
which is in the Maurey/Williamson county area. Later they moved to
Franklin.
Our last name, Newcome, can be misspelled, hence, we are interested
in the names "Newcum", "Newcomb", or
"Newcombe".
We have traced on earilest ancestor, Flemuel or Flemming, by his
Civil War records. We are also looking for info on his wife's family
"Hardison". Our earliest record in the 1840 Census. We are
