Looking for parents of Thomas E. TRUELOVE (my GGG

I have a Robert McGill,
listed ca. 1818 as a resident of Smith Co. He served from Jan. -June
1818 in the 1st Seminole War. He wasdischarged in Columbia, Maury
Co., TN. I think he may havesubsequently moved to Maury/Giles

information on ancestry families of John L.FITZPATRICK and Samuel
FITZPATRICK These men are listed as heads ofhouseholds in Maury
County in the 1820, 1830, 1840 and 1850 US CensusRecords. I believe
that the John FITZPATRICK listed in the censusrecords is John L.
FITZPATRICK, born March 1796 in ____ County,VIRGINIA, died Jan 1879
at Michie McNairy County, TN. SamuelFITZPATRICK was either the
brother or Father of John L. FITZPATRICK. I also believe that John L.
FITZPATRICK married a Mary ____, born1800 in North Carolina in Maury

abt 1824 in PA, md. Louisa J. (Eliza J.) WADDELL, daughter ofWilliam
WADDELL. Louisa was born abt. 1835 in TN, either Obion orMaury
county. In the 1850 census Louisa was with William andElizabeth
WADDELL and by 1860 she was married to Jessee CONN and had2 children,
and her younger siblings, Wm., age 19, M. (female) 12,and A. (female)

Looking for
information on the GOODNIGHT family of Giles Co. TN. Theywere in the
county from about 1808 or so. Two brothers Henry Jr andJohn signed
the petition to form Maury Co TN. Henry served in the Warof 1812 for
Giles Co. They have ties to the HUGGINS, NULL, WEAVER,ASKEW and
ENGLISH familes. Some of these families married inLawerance Co. TN.
They all moved to Lauderdale Co AL by 1830 and thenon to Van Buren
and Searcy Co AR. Henry GOODNIGHT SR was aRevolutionary Soldier. He
was married to Elizabeth CHISOLM. Elizabethwas to be part Cherokee.
Henry Jr was to have gone to Lauderdale CoAL with a CHISLOM uncle to
claim Indian land. They then went on to ARfor the same purpose. Any
information on these people would be agreat help. Henry's sister,
Elizabeth, married a John RUFF he to wasto have had Native blood.
They also went to AR.

information of John GROVES, son of John Groves? John had a unit in
the Civil War. His father and sisters died in NewOrleans in the
1850's in an epidimic. He also had a brother, Rufus? I have been

anyone who might direct me to the descendants of AlbertSCOTT and his
wife Lillie. I believe they have died within the lasttwenty years.
They resided at Mt. Pleasant. Albert worked forMonsanto and had a
little museum in a building behind their home. Albert was my

Wilson BOSHER b.1809 and d.1891. married Winnie WEAVER afterhis first
wife died. His first wife was Lucinda Burks. According to the book
"They Passed This Way", in his youth a perfectathlete, could out run,
out jump, and throw down anyone in hisneighborhood..." married 2
times; father of 25 children." (15 stillliving in June, 1891). His
wife, Winnie left for Texas in 1892.Her husband had been disabled 20
years, and the last 13 children wereborn by her. She went to Texas
to livewhere 4 of her children lived. My greatgrandfather Samuel

HARRELSON...I am looking for any information about James HARRELSON,
who is listed in the 1812 Soldiers of Maury Co. TN. He was discharged
27 April 1815 from Capt. James McMahan's Co. 1st Regiment of
Tennessee Mounted Volunteer Gunmen. Is this the same James HARRELSON
listed in the 1810 Census for Lawrence Co. Tennessee. Does any one

I desperately need help in finding ancestors by the name of FORBES &
GILMER. They lived and supposedly died in Giles or Maury county.
His name is Joseph GILMER, born in North Carolina about 1777. I
think he died in one of the above mentioned counties in 1862. His
wifes name was Martha Adeline FORBES. She was supposedly born in
North Carolina about 1783. I think she died in one of these counties

Allen White and his wife, Mary or Elizabeth,came from Bertie county,
NC before 1820. They were in the 1820 census in Maury county, TN,
along with several of their children, including son, Peter Doss White
and his siblings, Cordelia, Lucy, Will. Allen eventually moved to
western TN and shows up in Haywood county from the mid 1830's to
circa 1870. Allen's father was Peter White of Bertie county, NC, a
Rev. War veteran. In 1840, Allen and his brother Luke White filed a
deed of sale in Madison county, TN, following their father's death in
NC, selling their interest in inherited land. Allen was a farmer and
maybe a
blacksmith.

BOYD/WELLS: Susannah Boyd was born in Sept 1816,
married
Enos Wells in Maury County TN about 1830-36. Their children were born in
Maury
Co.: Elisha B., Martha A. , John A., Jesse A., Zachary Taylor. The family
moved
to Orange County Indiana about 1848. Need names of her parents and

SHAIN GILL I am searching for information concerning
my
ancestors Thomas James Shain and Frances Gill. They were married about
1805 in
Ohio Co., KY and moved to Maury Co., TN later. In 1827 they left for
Gallatin
and Hamilton counties, IL. There is still a Shain graveyard near
Campbell's
Station which was built on land left for a Methodist meeting house by
Thomas.
