for relatives of James ALLEN b July 1791, Elizabeth ALLEN b Feb 12, 1792,
Catharine Allen b June 7, 1817 and Thomas H Benton ALLEN b Sept 10, 1815.
James and Elizabeth are husband and wife and Catharine their daughter. Thomas
H Benton was 1st husband of Catharine. Catharine then married a Mayberry and
these two are my gggrandparents. If any of these names are familiar please

Looking for the parents of Stephen WILLIAMS, b. 1810 somewhere
in KY and d. 1893 in Maury Co, TN. According to the census, his parents were
born in NC. He married Rachel Jemima CURTIS in Maury Co, TN in 1831. Their
children were Stephen, Joshua, Franklin, Martha, Elizabeth, Josephine, Amanda

I am
seeking info about my paternal grandmother's family. Her father's name was
Daniel Black and he came from Maury Co. His daughter, my grandmother Nina
Black married Jessie Robert Parnell and they lived in Linden, TN. Daniel Black
died in 1931 and is buried in the Chestnut Hill Church of Christ Cemetery near
Linden and Beardstown, TN. Any info would be very much appreciated as we know
nothing about Nina Black except for her fathers' name and where he is buried.
Nina Black Parnell died in 1932 and Jessie Robert Parnell died in 1955. They
are both buried in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.

Searching for info on Cloyd W. Whitaker b 1883 d 1853
married to Nina Sowell. His parents were Patton Whitaker and Nora Ragsdale.
Patton's parents were William Love Whitaker and Susan E. Patton. I would like
to find the names of Cloyd and Nina Whitaker's children and whould also like
to know if any are still living. They had 4 daughters and one son with the son
being the youngest. One other note - I ran across a story in a book at the
library about the Love and Draper family. A Mary Love Draper and her sister
were captured by indians and Mary was finally rescued by her husband. I tried
to find the book that had the story but had no luck. Would appreciate any help

Michael Waldrop married Rebecca Brown 8 January 1810 in Maury
county. We later find this family in the 1820 Wayne county census, and then in
the 1830 Lawrence county census. Children are: William, Nancy Caroline, James
A., Margaret, Thomas A., Andrew B., Anderson Marion, Sarah, Rachel, Mary, and
Abel. Would like more information on these families, such as birth, death, and
marriage dates and places. A good portion of this family was in Tishomingo and
possibly Layfayette County, Mississippi by 1840. By 1847, we find many of
these families in Henderson, Smith and Kaufman counties of Texas.

Hi - I am looking for information on John Thomas Kinkade born
about 1862 in Maury Co., TN. He married Kezzia Owen (born in Perry Co.) and
they moved to Hickman Co., KY where their son, John William Kinkade was born
3/6/1884. John came back to Tennessee and raised a family in Gibson Co. They
also had a daughter named Kate who married someone named Lomax and they lived
in Humboldt, TN. I would love to hear from anyone related to this family.

Searching for orphans of PLUMMER WILLIS and DRUCILLA J.
RANSOM. Plummer died in 1818 and Drucilla in 1820, both in Robertson Co., Tn.
Augustine (Austin) Willis, of Maury Co., Tn., elder brother of Plummer was
administrator of Drucilla's estate. I found, in the Gideon Macon of Virginia
genealogy, a reference to Austin, born 1808, son of Plummer and Drucilla
married Arilla Dyche in 1837. It doesn't say where and gives no sources. Can
anyone help with my search, please? Anything will be greatly appreciated.

Interested in the physical location of the 17th Civil District
of Maury County in the 1850 census. It was within this district Jesse Harris
lived and made his home where James Fisher and Margaret Harris ROACH lived
also. Would also like the physical location of District 13 in the 1840 Maury
County Census. William Buck Roach and his family were there and probably there

for siblings/parents of James BARNES. Born in NC 1772, lived in Maury CO early
1800's to about 1835. Married Mary HUDDLESTON in Maury CO 1816. They had

Green HOLLAND in 1871 stated that he had served in the War of
1812 and was discharged in 1814 receiving his papers while at home in
Charlotte, Dickson Co., TN. He also names his wife as Susan CRINSHAW whom he
married in Maury County, TN. Though he did not give the marriage date, their
oldest known child was born in 1818. I will appreciate any information

community near Columbia. He ran a line of stage coaches between TN and NC. He
was married to Elizabeth Franke and had several children. Jacob died Dec 15,

Sarah. Who did Holmes H. HOPKINS marry & who are his children? According
to another family researcher:: We have a Holmes W. HOPKINS with a Joseph as

trying to find out if any records exist of a James Houston Cochran .His name
appears on the census for 1860 in District #6 roll 275 dated July 11, 1860. He
is 6 months old at this time. The only other records of him appear when he is
in his late 70's in Texas. He is the son of David J. Cochran and Rebecca ?.

I am
trying to find out if a William J Cochran, Jas.Cochran and Isom Jackson are
related. The Oct.23,1850 census in District #6 on roll 890 shows these people.
I believe that Jas.Cochran is the father of William J. Cochran and that Isom
Jackson is the father of William's wife Winnifred. Is it possible to confirm

researching my great-grandfather Albert Smith who was born in 1862 in Maury
Co. TN. I have been told that his parents were Bill and Elizabeth Smith.
Albert died in 1957 in Palo Pinto Co. TX and was 104 years old. I have run up
against a wall here as I only know his children and they were all born in

BEAUMONT, the daughter of Dr and Mrs William BEAUMONT from Clarksville,
Montgomery County, TN, attended the Columbia Female Insitute before her
marriage in 1848 in Clarksville to Rev. Ambrose Baxter RUSSELL. Are there any

Maury Co. 1823. Any help on their des or ansesters would be greatly
appreciated. Their son David Elihu is my direct line. He married Emeline
Gargus in Henry Co in 1854. Had a brother Louis. Have no info on Thomison. I
think Bryant was the son of John JONES Rev Sol that was in Maury Co but died
