I am looking for information pertaining to Benjamin GOODRUM and
Thomas GOODRUM given in the 1830 Maury Co TN census. I believe
Benjamin to be a brother to Thomas. Benjamin died Allen Co KY about
1838, as well as his wife Clary CARUTHERS. The age of Benjamin in the
1830 census fits, but not the known children of Benjamin and Clary.
Also give in the 1830 Maury Co Census is John GOODNEM (Goodrum?) who
married 1st Margery CARUTHERS. Any insight or help with this family
is much appreciated. I believe these 3 men are brothers and the sons
of Bennet GOODRUM, Rev Soldier, who died Warren Co KY in 1823, and
who could be the brother of Thomas GOODRUM, Rev Soldier, buried in
Maury Co TN.

Hi, I am researching the families of my gg grandparents--Abraham Land
and Sarah Edwards. Abe was born (1781) in SC, married Sarah Wofford
and Sarah Edwards. Abe’s mother was Anna Land. Sarah’s parents were
William Edwards and Eunice Farrell. William was supposedly born in
NC. According to some papers I have, Abe and Sarah(both wives) lived
near Nashville --I think Hickman Co and/or Maury Co. Abe had two
families, one family stayed in TN, and Abe and Sarah Edwards came to
Indiana about 1832. Abe had a son, Abe JR, who married Narcissa
Crabtree in IN and many of their children went to IL. I have
information on the Land side of the family and would like more on the
Edwards. I will appreciated anything you can give me and will be
most happy to share. Thanks. Helen Keusch
