I'm looking for ancestral information on Sarah "Lizzie" BELL. She
was born approximately 1880 and married Dossey BURLISON on Aug 20,
1898 in Lawrence County. She may have also lived later in life in
Maury and Davidson Counties, but unsure of this. She is my great
aunt through the BELL family. Her father was William Joseph BELL and
her mother was Mary F. MASSEY. If you have ancestral info or are a
relative through the BURLISON or BELL family, any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I am actually researching the origin of my home. It's in the Zion
Community about 1/2 mile north from the old Zion Presbyterian Church.
It borders what was the Paul FULTON property (known as Poplar Top)to
the south. It was supposedly built circa 1840. Gad ARMSTRONG owned
the property at the turn of the century. He was supposed to have
"married" the property. He married two WALKER sisters, Agnes & Lula.
After one died, he married the other. They are all buried together
in the Zion Cemetery. The WALKER's owned the property prior to
ARMSTRONG. A map of Maury Co. dated 1878 showed the property as
being the D.C. BROWN home. If anyone has knowledge of this property
or knows anyone that may be able to help me, I would be very
appreciative. Thanks.

Looking for parents & siblings of Archelous M. "Arch" WHITE (2 Jan
1815-13 May 1879) & his wife, Harriet Daniel BRYANT (25 Jul 1823-5
Dec 1902). They married in Maury Co. on 12 Aug 1841. They continued
to live in Maury Co. until about 1850 when they relocated to Madison
Co., TN where they lived until their deaths. An obituary of one son
mentioned that his father, Arch WHITE was born in Nelson Co., VA.
Another clue comes from an elderly family member who told me of some
"Maury Co. cousins" although she did not know who they were---so I
don't know if they were WHITEs or BRYANTs. I do know that Arch WHITE
had a brother James (7 Dec 1823-16 Dec 1903) who married Emma DAVIS
on 19 Sept 1855 in Madison Co., TN. James & Emma also lived in
Madison Co. until their deaths. Any help on this WHITE and/or BRYANT
family will be greatly appreciated.

Looking for descendants of and ancestral info on Sarah "Lizzie" BELL.
I do not know her married name. She would have been born about 1880
and was the daughter of William Joseph Bell and Mary F. Massey. Her
brothers were James Minor Bell and Buford Bell. She probably died
after 1950, and also may have lived subsequently in Lawrence and
Davidson Counties. She is my great Aunt. Any info & help would be

1840 Maury Co., TN...Simeon & Mary (SCOTT) CHRISTIAN are listed on
Page 373. In the household are two daughters born 1825-1830 in the
state of Georgia...Simeon went to Wright Co., MO by 1845...Any help
on these two daughters!!! In this household is Rebecca SCOTT who is

Looking for help with William EVERETT and his wife Francis. According
to Goodspeed History of TN, they moved from NC to Maury Co in 1833.
William Everett farmed in Maury Co till 1859 and then moved his
family to Obion Co TN. Would love to have someone do a lookup in the
1850 Census. In 1850, they should have a 14yo son listed - James a.

parents and wife of MCINTOSH, William born @1794 in NC. William and
family lived for some time in Maury CO according to letters written
by Aaron during Civil WAr. Children born in TN: Malinda 1814, Abner
@1816, John 1818, Aaron 1825, James 1826, and Thomas born in IN in
1832. Family were living in Sullivan Co. IN according to 1840 census.
Later moved to Mercer MO area.

There is a gentleman that is writing an article about my Grandfather
David A. Trousdale. He was wanting to find out if anybody knows what
church the Rev A.N. Eshman came from? To see if it's possible there
might be a record of the occurrence were Rev. Eshman wrote to
congress so that they would honor my grandfather's bravery for
killing two of the whole-in-the-wall gang in 1912. He wrote congress
back between 1912 to 1947. He is also wondering if any of Reverend
Eshman's relatives might still be alive there. If anybody can help
it would be greatly appricated.

Pogue: I am trying to find out about William Francis Pogue who was my
grandfather. He was married to Mary L. McCulley in 1879 and had 7
children. They were Will, Walter, Annie, Josephine, Samuel Hugh and
James Emmmett Pogue and his twin who died at birth. I would like to
know what line of Pogue's he came from and when he was born and where
