I am looking for a William Toombs born originally in Richmond,
Virginia who moved and married a Betsy Duff (possibly Elizabeth) in
1808 in Maury County, TN. I am curious if they had children in the
county and if so what info can be provided. I think evetually they
moved to White County, Il as my records show that they were buried
there. Please respond if you have any info at all.

Searching for any information on a JOHN DABBS b.1773-d.1859 Maury Co.
Tn. He served in war 1812 in Capt. John Doak's 2nd Reg.Tn. and also a
J.M. Dabbs that died during Civil War and buried in Rosehill Cem.
Maury Co.Tn. and also a JOHN DABBS that married a MARGARET WEAVER

I am searching for information on the Parmenas HOWARD family.
Parmenas HOWARD was born cir 1793 according to census records,
possible son of a John and Ellen HOWARD. He married Hulda Malinda
RICHARDSON, daughter of Thomas RICHARDSON and Jane WILLIS. Hulda
was born cir 1800. Hulda and Parmenas married cir 1826 in Maury Co.,
TN. They had several children: Amanda, Joseph, William, Willis
James, and Hester Loretta. This may not be a complete list.
Parmenas and Hulda were in the 1850 Maury Co., TN. census. An Ellen
HOWARD age 74 was also in the 1850 Maury Co. census. I don't know
if this Ellen is Parmenas' mother or not. By 1860 Parmenas and his
family were in Lawrence Co., TN. and were there in 1870 census, also.
I am most especially interested in Hester Loretta HOWARD, daughter of
Parmenas and Hulda. She married in 1860 Lawrence Co., TN. to Joseph
G. KING. If anyone knows about this family, please let me hear from
you--anything even the least little tidbit of info would be helpful.

Thomas Jefferson Stone married Nancy Dogan in 1814 in Maury County.
I believe their son to be Thomas J. Stone who married Ann Eliza
Wilkes in 1850. They had 2 sons, Dogan and Melville. Ann Eliza died
in 1854 and Thomas J. remarried in 1860 to Mary E. Witherspoon.
ANYONE researching any of these families, please contact me. Trying

I am looking for information about the family of Dr. La Baume
ELLIOTT, born 13 Jan. 1822 in Maury Co., TN. Dr.ELLIOTT moved to
Belleville, Rusk Co., TX about 1850 where he lived for two years. He
married Frances BURNETT on 26 Mar. 1852 in Nacogdoches, TX. They
lived in Danville, Rusk Co., TX and then in 1869 moved to Dallas, TX.
Dr. ELLIOTT died 23 May 1901 and France BURNETT ELLIOTT died 13 June
1884. Any help in finding La Baume ELLIOTT's parents would be

who lived in Maury co. in 1820. He was born about 1799 in Ky., married Polly
Mayho nov.5,1819. Moved to bond co. ,IL in the 1830's and died there

I'm looking for any information on John DAVIDSON born 1806 TN and
Hester WILSON born 1813 TN. They were married August 29 1828 in
Maury Co TN. In 1850 they were in Rutherford Co TN. Hester died
sometime between 1850 and 1854. John remarried to Martha Ann Barnett
April 28 1855 in Robertson Co TN. Last sighting of this alien family
was 1860 in Webster Co MO. Children of John and Hester were William
J. born 1833, George A. born 1835, Joseph born 1837, Emily M. born
1839, Missouri Jane born 1843, Sarah E. born Sept 1 1844, John born
1847 and Elizabeth born 1848.

Information needed on children & grandchildren of James HUTCHISON Sr.
and Elizabeth Love LEGER. The Hutchisons moved to Maury Co., TN from
Lancaster Co., SC circa 1817-1818. They lived here until their deaths
& buried in McKee-Rountree Cemetery. 4 of 6 children's names appeared
in James Hutchison's 1822 Am. Rev. War Pension Appl. & 1836 will.
They are: 1)Sarah HUTCHISON m. Mr. RAIL after 1810. Widow w/
offspring by 1822 2) William HUTCHISON m. Mrs. Martha MOORE LATTA
(widow of James LATTA who had 2 sons Moses and John LATTA). William
& Martha had two daughters. One named Mary "Polly" HUTCHISON & m.
Tilmon MORRIS in 1840's. 3) Elizabeth HUTCHISON m. James MORRIS in
1820's and 4) James Hulen HUTCHISON a.k.a. Jr. who married Martha
Patterson "Patsey" CRAWFORD in Maury County between 1825-1830. Later
moved to Tipton Co. c. 1842 & to DeSoto Co., MS by 1850. They had at
least 10 children. Any help would be appreciated and willing to trade
and pay for postage and paper copies.

I am looking for any information on Wiley B. WALDROP, he was born in
Maury Co. around 1809. I have heard that he may have been a bare
knuckle fighter. Some one told me there is a picture on the side of a
