Extent of schooling not determined. Married date and place not indicated, to Malinda Sherman; children- Sterling, Isaac, George Washington, and Sarah E. Engaged in farming at Mouse Creek, later Niota of McMinn CO. Was living in 1870 when census enumeration was made. He was a cousin to James Tidence Lane.
