Luther "Luke" & Ora Lee Ellis Spivey Family
Luke was the son of James Alfred & Mary Elizabeth (Rhea) Spivey.
He was born 24 Oct 1891 in Tellico Plains, Monroe, TN.
Ora Lee (Ellis) Spivey was b. 7 Aug 1892 in Unaka, Cherokee, Co., NC.
She was the daughter of Rev. John Allen & Lucinda Cordelia (Kilby) Ellis.
Luke and Ora Lee were married in Monroe Co., on 21 Sept 1913 and had 10 children.
I'm told that this photograph (the inset photograph of them) may be their wedding photograph, which would then be in 1913. They moved to Oregon in Sept/Oct 1929, where both are buried.
