James Alfred Spivey & Family Taken in 1899. All the children pictured here were born in Tellico Plains, Monroe, TN. with the exception of James Wiley Spivey, their 5th child. The family must have left TN and went to TX for some unknown reason, sometime after Mar 1894 and bef. Sep 1896. They then returned to TN aft. Sep 1896 and bef. the Jun 1900 Monroe Co., TN Census where they are found. Mary Elizabeth Rhea was the daughter of William & Margaret Jane (Smalling) Rhea of Tellico Plains.
