David Womble & Unknown One of these men is David Womble. He married Velma Vaughn in Monroe County, TN on Aug 14 1920. Velma Vaughn was the daughter of Rev. William A. Vaughn and Gussie Payne. David and Velma had a son named George Odell Womble, born Aug 20 1921 and died Feb 10 1993 Georgia. Velma Vaughn was remarried in 1923 to a Thomas Stoker in Georgia.
