James Monroe Sneed
He is standing on the front porch of the country store he owned and ran from around 1917 until
the late 1950's. Before the construction of Highway 411, the store was the "Hub-Bub" of the
community, and was the bus stop between Madisonville, TN and Maryville, TN. The building is
still standing and is located at the corner of Niles Ferry Road and Corntassle Road.
The delivery man in the photo is unknown.
