Tennessee Ridge- Henry Claude Self, 80, died in Waverly. He
was a retired farmer of Tennessee Ridge.
Funeral services held at Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church. Burial
in Pleasant View Cemetery.
He was born in Dickson County, October 2, 1886, son of the late Tom and
Sudie Morrison Self. His wife, Mrs. Ruby Powers Self, preceded
him in death.
Survivors: 4 sons, Ernest, Detroit, Mich.; Henry C., Cumberland
Furnace; Lawrence, Harrit, Ohio and Grever Self, Allen Park, Mich.; 3
daughters, Mrs. Edna Ferrell, Tennessee Ridge; Miss Stella Mae Self,
amd Mrs. Willie Pearl Wolfe, both of Erin; a sister, Mrs. Rosa Powers,
Ferndale, Mich.; 39 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
