ADOLPH HACH

Section 10

1. Tobacconist Adolph Hach came early in the century (1900’s) to C’ville where he reared his family on Greenwood Ave.

2. He owned a St. Bernard named Bruno who carried on his back a monkey named Chico...all over town.

3. Adolph Hach is credited with having the first private swimming pool in C’ville.

4. His home on Greenwood (across from the high school) was built by Cave Johnson’s son, Polk Grundy, who first married Emma Robb, then Nannie Tyler, sister to judge Charles Tyler.
