Obituary of
John Allen
August 27, 1985
John Dan Allen, 73, Route 1 Palmyra, died Saturday at Trinity Hospital in Erin after an extended illness.
Services 1 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Vaughn Fults officiating Burial will be in Allen Cemetery. Visitation will be at McReynolds-Nave Funeral Home in Clarksville until the hour of services.
Allen was born Nov. 9, 1909, In Montgomery County, the son of the late Burrell and Mary Sullivan Allen. He was a retired electrician and had worked at Fort Campbell and for the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Survivors include his wife, Corinne Davidson Allen; two brothers, Harold
Allen of Cumberland Furnace and Erskin Allen of Kansas City, Mo.; and a
sister, Louise Matthews of Paris.
He was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
