Obituary of
John Allen
July  27, 1980

John Harold Allen, 60. was found dead Saturday after a tractor accident on his Woodlawn farm. He was a civil service employee at Fort Campbell, Ky.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Tarpley's Chapel with the Rev. Ed Mayfield and the Rev. George Gracey officiating. Burial will be in the Blooming Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Allen was born Nov. 18 1919, in Montgomery County, the son of the late John B. and Ora Seay Allen He was a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II..

Survivors include a son, John Steven Allen, Clarksville; a daughter, Pamela Allen Bone,
Clarksville, one brother Phillip Allen. Clarksville; and a sister. Mary Evelyn Claxton of Nashville.

The body will be at Tarpleys Funeral Home until the hour of service.
