Obituary of
Leon Allen
December 12, 1973
Services for Leon Allen, 56, construction worker who died at 7:45 PM Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church by the Rev. Jerry Jerkins. Burial will be in the Ogburn Cemetery, Hooker Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Allen was born in Montgomery Co. June 18, 1917, son of Mrs Mary Allen Ewing, Clarksville. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother are his widow, Mrs. Edith Haynes Allen, two sons, Leon Allen Jr., Clarksville, and William V. Allen, Indianapolis, Ind.; four daughters. Mrs. Diane Johnson, Mrs. Loretta Scott, and Misses Debra and Brenda Allen, Clarksville; a halfbrother, Earl Richard Sanders, Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the Church at 11:30 Saturday and remain
until the hour of service.
