LILLIAN RUTH ALLEN

Funeral serices for Lillian Ruth Allen, 85, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sept. 13 at Nave Funeral Home, Erin, with the Rev. Paul Ford officiating. Bunal wa in the Cumberland City Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen, a resident of Cumberland City, died Wednesday at Trinity Hospital, Erin. following an extended illlness.
A native of Stewart County, Miss Allen was born on Jan. 20, 1900, the daughter of Hart H. and Ivie Webb Allen.n She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State College and taught at the W.T. Thomas school in Cumberalnd City for 49 years. She also served as secretary and Sunday School teacher for more than 40 years at the Cumberland City United Methodist Church.
Servivors include one sister, Myrtle Daughtery, Cumberland City, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ryan Holley, W.E. Daughtery, Nick Daughtery, Craig
Roby, Doug Barber, Richard Harris, Ray Vaughn, Billy Landiss and Mike Baskins.
