Obituary of
Mary Elizabeth Allen
July 7, 1980
Mary Elizabeth Allen 58, of Mill Road, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal
Church with the Rev. Peter W. Peters officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery.
The remains will be at Tarpley’s Funeral Home until
the hour of services.
A housewife, Mrs. Allen was born in Winchester, Tenn., May 27, 1922, the daughter of Enoch M. Farmer and the late Ida George Farmer.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Survivors are one son, Dr. William Bailey Allen Jr.. Clarksville; one daughter, Amelia Hartz, Clarksville; one sister, Louise Dismukes, Donelson, Tenn.; and four gandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ed Dismukes Jr., Tom Foust. Charles Persinger, Rob Winn, Bill Shelton and Brad Martin.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers and other remembrances,
donations be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church’s Memorial Fund.
