Obituary of
MAYME G. ALLEN
July 19, 1985

Mayme G. Allen, 84, Tennessee Ridge, died Friday at Trinity Hospital, Erin. The funeral will be 3 pm today at Anglin Memorial Chapel, Dover, with the Rev. Paul Moody. Burial will be in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be until the hour of the service.

Mrs. Allen was born in Calloway County, Ky., on Nov. 5, 1900, the daughter of Robert George and Dora Shelton.

She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church, Erin.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore Allen, Tennessee Ridge; five sons, Robert Allen, Cedar Hill, John Allen, Auburn, Mich., Charles Allen, Dover, Arvel Allen, Waverly, and Max Allen, Birmingham, Ala.; two daughters, Eva Hancock, Ashville, N.C., and Sandra Crosslin, Daneville, Ala.; one sister, Sadie Harrell, Clarksville; 13 grandchildren; and, four great-grandchildren.
