Obituary of
Mrs. Evin Allen
November 29, 1978
Mrs. Evin Allen of 206 South 15th St, Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday,
Nov. 29, 1978 at
Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She was 63 years of age and
was born May 24, 1915, to the late Thomas C. Barrow and Mary Elizabeth
Hicks Barrow in Stewart County, Tenn. She was a member of the Grace Baptist
Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Barbara) Crane of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Elnora) Vinson, Clarksville, Tenn., Mrs. Haven Veros, Murray, and Mrs. L E. (Mary) Outland, route 1, Stella; two stepsister, Mrs. Birdle Garland, Illinois, and Mrs. Otle McDougal, Murray; two brothers, Thomas Barrow and Glen Barrow, both of Detroit; and two stepbrothers, Jack Compton, Dover, Tenn. and Bernard Compton, Granite City, Ill.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Max Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. R. J. Burpoe officiating. Burial was In the West Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Marvin Allen Jr., Jimmy Dale Compton, Hugh Outland, Ricky Barrow, Don Barrow and Steve Brandon..
