Obituary of
AMELIA ALLEN
November 12, 1978
Dover- Amelia Allen, 86, Madison, Tenn., died Sunday in Hillhaven Nursing Home in Madison, after a long illness.
Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. today at Dover First Baptist Church by the Rev., Lloyd Johnson . Burial will be in Hendon Cemetery Anglin Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Allen was born in Stewart County June 11, 1892, daughter of the late Alfred Futrell and Rose Ella Vinson Futrell. Her husband, Marvin Allen, died In 1960.
She was a member of Dickerson Road Baptist Church.
Survivors are three sons, Marvin Allen Jr., Indian Mound; W. C. Allen,
Madison; Lewis Allen,
Paris, Tenn., two daughters, Mrs. Everett Watson, Dover; Mrs. Ben Lynn,
Madison; a sister,
Grace Ervin, Murray, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
